Description: Join us for an in-depth discussion on how sustainable roofing practices can reduce operating and maintenance costs, increase your property's value, meet tenant green lease requirements, and assist in achieving LEED certification. Topics will include an introduction to basic roofing concepts, a review of current sustainable roofing technologies, applying green roofing concepts to the LEED rating system, and a review of vegetative roofing case studies. The afternoon will conclude with a tour of Emory University's green roof. Presented by BOMA-Atlanta and the Georgia Chapter of RCI Inc., an international association of professional consultants, architects, and engineers who specialize in the specification and design of roofing, waterproofing and exterior wall systems. This seminar provides 3 hours of Georgia Real Estate Commission CEUs.
